Canning Safety

The Canning Safety course teaches proper techniques for safely preserving food through canning. Participants will learn about safe food handling, sterilization, equipment usage, and the importance of maintaining proper temperatures to prevent contamination. In the afternoon students will apply their knowledge creating homemade jam using the water-bathing technique.
